Mångata Pâtisserie was launched with the intent to become one of the most prominent luxury bakeries in Saigon serving truly well-designed cakes with a high-tea concept.

The owner had been wandering, researching and studying in both France and Belgium to find the perfect recipes.

Endorsing the minimalistic lifestyle of Northern Europe, the name “Mångata” was chosen for its unique meaning — a feeling of falling in love, of romance and delight, like a beautiful novel, a love song, something that comes not from deliberate thought but from the bottoms of hearts.

The concept is focusing on creating a visual identity and system for packaging and other brand materials to be unique, strong and sustainable.

Mångata has a different meaning in Swedish: a unique romantic scene — the glimmering, road-like reflection of the moon creates onto the night sea.

This scene felt so inspired and visually appealing, that we decided to bring it into the brandmark, making Mångata more unique and memorable without overwhelming the premium product itself. The colour palette of black & gold imitates the atmosphere of the dark sea and gives the brand a mysterious, luxurious touch.

The contemporary art of plating is exploding with so many new creations and design, but it all comes from a geometric-based concept with various type of cutters and molds in basic shapes. The visual system was developed and applied dynamically for brand materials, involving a personal touch to Mångata.
